WHAT WE DO.
IMPACT INVESTING .
The FAM Foundation is actively seeking impactful organizations that demonstrate leadership in addressing the SDGs 14, 6, 4, and 3 with evidence-based innovative solutions.
In accordance with FAM's policies, the specific amounts allocated to donations are determined on an annual basis.
Every year, the Board conducts an evaluation of a pipeline of impact and research projects submitted by innovative organizations focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 14 (Life Below Water), 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), 4 (Quality Education), and 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
The Foundation provides grants to evidence-based organizations working towards these goals. The grant amount ranges from 20,000 to 50,000 euros, covering up to 80% of the requested funding amount.
By supporting these impactful initiatives, the FAM Foundation aims to drive positive change in areas critical to environmental sustainability, access to clean water, quality education, and improved health and well-being.
Every year, the FAM Foundation's Board donates funds towards prizes awarded to organizations that demonstrate scientific merit, excellence in sports, or achievements in musical competitions. These prizes aim to recognize and encourage outstanding individuals and organizations in their respective fields.
The Foundation values the importance of supporting sportsmanship, and musical talent. By awarding these prizes, the FAM Foundation seeks to inspire and motivate individuals and organizations to continue pushing the boundaries of their disciplines and making significant contributions to society.
Every year, the FAM Foundation's Board assesses a pipeline of potential integrated scholarships offered by innovative qualitative research organizations focusing on the SDGs 14, 6, 4, and 3.
These scholarships aim to support evidence-based researchers affiliated with their respective faculty organizations. The scholarship amounts range from 5,000 to 10,000 euros, providing financial assistance to researchers pursuing qualitative research projects aligned with the Foundation's mission and the specified SDGs.
By offering these scholarships, the FAM Foundation aims to encourage and empower researchers to conduct impactful qualitative research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and addresses key challenges related to environmental sustainability, access to clean water, quality education, and improved health and well-being.
The FAM Foundation has established a fund dedicated to supporting local organizations that respond to global emergency crises with significant negative impacts. This fund is specifically designed to address urgent issues such as providing support to regions affected by crises like the situation in Ukraine, addressing the climate catastrophes, and other high-scale emergencies.
Through this fund, the FAM Foundation aims to provide assistance to local organizations that are at the forefront of tackling these crises, supporting their efforts to mitigate the negative impacts and provide relief to affected communities. The Foundation recognizes the importance of rapid response and targeted assistance during times of crisis and is committed to making a positive difference in these challenging situations.
